| Árperla Brana CGC Born Feb. 12, 2007 |
| Brana arrived on April 14, 2007 from Luleå, Sweden. After months of photo's from Maria we were so excited to finally have her on the farm. Tomas and his friend Jonas flew Brana and her brother Bjarki to the states. They stayed for a week long visit in our cabin and after a few days rest did some sight seeing. Brana has a very laid back personality, she loves to be held, and really wants to please. She loves being outside, barking at the sheep and chickens if they get too close to her back yard. She is always on alert for birds flying overhead. She is well built, has strong double dew claws and has double dew claws on her left front foot as well like her sire. Brana went for her eye exam and it was discovered that she has juvenile cataracts, the good news is at this time her vision is not impaired, for that we are thankful. On Oct. 3, 2009 at the 1st Icelandic Sheepdog National Specialty she passed her CGC test. |
