| Here's a few photos of the cabin Bob built for our daughter when she came back to go to college. Bob always wanted to build a log cabin on our property. He started this project in 2001, all the logs came off our farm and the only help he had was with the chinking and a friend came by and helped him put the flooring in. In Aug. 2002 Bob fell off the roof 23 ft.. He crushed his heel and fractured 2 vertebrae in his back. After reconstructive surgery on his heel, and 5 months of down time he finished in Oct. 2003. We still have some siding to put up on the outside, but it's very cozy as you can see. Our daughter graduated from college in Nov. 2005 and the cabin is now our guest house for visitors that come and it is currently rented from Oct. - Dec. to hunters. |
